Christian founded Venture Lane, Boston’s leading startup hub for early stage B2B software companies in 2018 and co-founded Venture Lane Studios in 2021. Prior to launching amaysim in 2010, Christian was Co-founder and CMO of simyo, a customer-centric challenger brand in the European mobile provider space. With Christian’s help, simyo became the world’s largest online-based mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), operating in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Christian’s homeland, Germany. simyo was sold to E-Plus, a subsidiary of KPN (Royal Dutch Telecom) in 2007.

In Europe, Christian was European Marketing Director at Letsbuyit.com (IPO 2000) and has held senior marketing positions at ProSieben Digital Media, Entertainment Media Verlag and Club RTL.

An international tech startup and marketing leader Christian is highly engaged with the tech startup ecosystem, where he acts as investor, advisor and mentor.
