Application
Founders share their company’s traction, current challenges, and goals through a short application. We’re looking for pre-Series A B2B startups with strong momentum and specific areas where mentorship can make a difference.
Selection
Within 2 weeks after application closing, applications are carefully reviewed to choose a cohort of high-potential startups. We pair founders with mentors based on their expertise and alignment with the challenges outlined. Selected participants are notified ahead of the event.
Day of the Sessions
Founders participate in 2-4 targeted 30-minute sessions with mentors matched to their needs. These conversations are designed to offer clarity, fresh insights, and actionable strategies to move past key roadblocks.
Post-Session
Founders walk away with clear next steps and meaningful mentor connections. We encourage ongoing collaboration between mentors and founders, along with access to community resources to support long-term growth.

We focus primarily on B2B companies that have a software component, given that this is where our network of mentors primarily has expertise in. However, we also welcome companies with contracts with government agencies or organizations. Venture Lane’s ScaleUp Sessions are not designed for companies that are strictly hardware-focused, have a B2C model, or are based in the life sciences.
Yes! Sometimes timing is the hardest part. Whatever the case may be, we encourage companies to reapply or even participate multiple times if they find an upcoming session relevant to them.
